In this episode of the podcast I am speaking with Jungian psychoanalyst Dariane Pictet about Individuation in Troubled Times. Amongst other things we talk about her calling to be a therapist at an early age, time in the US and UK, from ego to the soul, mysterium tremendum et fascinans, the burning bush, living in two worlds, Marion Woodman, Addiction to Perfection, anima, archetype of life, Anima Mundi, Rumi, The Song of the Reed, India, participation mystique, the experience of participation in India, being a therapist and joy.

Dariane was born in Geneva, Switzerland. She attended Drama School in Paris, worked as a Poetry Editor then trained as a Psychotherapist. She worked in a primary care setting for three years (SHARP) as an addiction counsellor. She was in private practice in London as a psychotherapist and Jungian analyst for over twenty years. Back in Switzerland, she continues to lecture internationally and supervise therapists in training. Her interests include yoga, meditation, embodiment, Eastern philosophy and consciousness studies.
